What Is the HydraFacial?

Three customizable tiers, one signature treatment

At Aesthetic Beauty Lab in Apple Valley, MN, the HydraFacial uses Vortex-Fusion technology to cleanse, exfoliate, extract, and hydrate in a single visit. Most clients see an immediate, same-day glow with no needles and no downtime.

Three tiers let you match the treatment to your skin and your goals. Signature ($150) is the essential 30-minute treatment. Deluxe ($200) adds a targeted booster serum and LED light therapy. Platinum ($250) adds lymphatic drainage before the full Deluxe protocol.

HydraFacial results are temporary. Skin looks its best in the first few days after treatment, which is why most clients rebook every four to six weeks rather than treating it as a one-time fix.

What HydraFacial Addresses

Skin concerns we work with

Gentle exfoliation removes the dead surface layer that mutes radiance, so skin looks brighter the same day. Suits any tier.

Vortex suction clears debris and oil from pores with less discomfort than manual extractions. Skin feels cleaner and looks smoother. Pair with the clarifying booster in Deluxe or Platinum.

Anti-aging boosters with peptides, combined with red LED, are used to support skin firmness over a series of treatments. Improvements are gradual and maintained with regular visits. Best in Deluxe or Platinum.

Brightening boosters with vitamin C can help even out tone across a series. For established melasma or deeper pigmentation, we will tell you honestly if a different treatment is a better fit. Best in Deluxe or Platinum.

Clarifying boosters with salicylic acid, paired with blue LED, are commonly used for mild acne-prone skin. Moderate to severe or cystic acne needs a dermatologist rather than a facial. Best in Deluxe or Platinum.

Lymphatic drainage encourages fluid movement for a temporarily depuffed, more sculpted look, usually most visible in the first 24 to 72 hours. It is a short-term cosmetic effect, not a lasting change. Platinum only.

Calming boosters with centella and niacinamide, plus red LED, suit reactive or rosacea-prone skin. If you are mid-flare we may recommend waiting. Best in Deluxe or Platinum.

Hyaluronic acid and antioxidant serums leave skin plumper and dewier. The hydration step is the same across all three tiers, so Signature covers this well.

Every Skin Tone Welcome

HydraFacial for every skin tone

The HydraFacial uses no heat, no lasers and no harsh scrubbing, which makes it a gentle choice for every skin type, from very fair to deep skin tones (Fitzpatrick I to VI). For darker skin, that matters: gentle exfoliation helps brighten dullness and uneven tone without the irritation that can leave dark spots behind (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation).

Want extra help with uneven tone? Ask about the brightening booster in the Deluxe or Platinum tier. We also check what you use at home, like retinoids or exfoliating acids, so your treatment is set for your skin that day.

Yes. The HydraFacial uses no heat or laser and is gentle enough for all skin types, from Fitzpatrick I to VI. It is a popular choice for dullness, congestion and uneven tone on darker skin.

Signature ($150) is a 30-minute cleanse, extract, and hydrate treatment, suited to first-timers and monthly maintenance. Deluxe ($200) adds a targeted booster serum (anti-aging, brightening, clarifying, or calming) plus LED light therapy, in 45 minutes. Platinum ($250) runs 60 minutes and adds lymphatic drainage at the start for a temporary depuffing and sculpting effect.

HydraFacial uses Vortex-Fusion technology to deliver three steps in one visit. Cleanse and Peel removes dead skin cells and surface debris. Extract and Hydrate uses vortex suction to clear pores while infusing hydrating serums. Fuse and Protect finishes with antioxidants and peptides. The treatment takes 30 to 60 minutes depending on tier.

Every 4 to 6 weeks suits most clients. Results are temporary, so HydraFacial works best as ongoing maintenance rather than a one-time treatment, and it pairs well with chemical peels and microneedling in a longer-term plan.

Signature $150, Deluxe $200, Platinum $250. Your provider can recommend the right tier at your appointment. We offer financing through Cherry, CareCredit, PatientFi, Affirm and Klarna.

Most clients find it comfortable and describe it as deeply cleansing. There are no needles and no numbing. You will feel suction during the extraction step, which most people find mild. Skin that is already inflamed or very sensitive may find parts of it more noticeable, so tell your provider and we will adjust.

No downtime for most clients. You can apply makeup and return to normal activities immediately. Skin may appear slightly flushed for a few hours, and occasionally congested skin purges for a day or two after extractions.

Three to five days before is a good window, since the glow tends to peak 24 to 72 hours after treatment. Book your first HydraFacial well before the event rather than the week of it, so you know how your skin responds.

Yes. Tell your provider at the start of your session and we will adjust the protocol and pricing. Many clients book Signature and upgrade to Deluxe based on what their skin needs that day.

It is generally well tolerated, and we adjust serums and suction pressure to your tolerance. The calming booster available with Deluxe and Platinum suits reactive or rosacea-prone skin. Tell us about active flares, recent peels or lasers, or isotretinoin use, since those may mean postponing.

HydraFacial uses a vacuum-driven handpiece to extract pores and infuse serums at the same time, where traditional facials rely on manual extractions that some people find uncomfortable. Both can suit your skin; HydraFacial tends to be gentler on extractions and gives a more immediate visible result.

Yes. ABL Wallet membership tiers give members a discount on all services, and monthly HydraFacials are a common standing booking. See our memberships page for current tiers and pricing.

This page is for general information and is not medical advice. HydraFacial results are temporary and vary by individual. It is not a treatment for moderate to severe acne, established melasma, or any medical skin condition; those need evaluation by a dermatologist. Tell your provider about recent peels or laser treatments, active infections or cold sores, pregnancy, and any isotretinoin use in the past six months. Pricing is current as of August 2026 and subject to change.
