The Plasma Pen is not suitable for Fitzpatrick skin types V or VI due to risk of hyperpigmentation. We also cannot treat clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a pacemaker or metal implants in the area, are on blood thinners, have active autoimmune conditions, have used isotretinoin (Accutane) within 6 months, or have active herpes outbreak. Best candidates are Fitzpatrick I-IV with mild to moderate skin laxity, fine lines, or loose eyelids. Consultation required.

The Plasma Pen creates controlled plasma energy that forms tiny carbon crusts on the skin surface and stimulates collagen production underneath. Carbon crusts form immediately and naturally flake off over 5 to 10 days. Do not pick them, this can cause scarring. Avoid water on the area for 24 hours, no makeup until crusts fall off, and apply SPF 50+ daily for 12 weeks minimum. Swelling around the eyes is normal and resolves in 3 to 5 days. Most clients return to work in 5 to 7 days.

You'll see immediate tightening once the carbon crusts heal. Full results develop over 8 to 12 weeks as your body produces new collagen. Results typically last 2 to 5 years depending on your skin, age, and lifestyle. Some clients schedule a second session 8 to 12 weeks after the first for enhanced results. Healthy lifestyle, SPF, and skincare extend results.

Plasma Pen pricing at Aesthetic Beauty Lab starts at $275 per area. Forehead, Crows Feet, and Upper Lip are $275 each. Under Eyes, Nasolabial Folds, Marionette Lines, and Chin are $325 each. Upper Eyelids are $375. Neck is $650. A full face treatment is $1,100. Payment plans available through PatientFi, CareCredit, and Cherry.

Topical numbing cream is applied 30 to 45 minutes before treatment to ensure comfort. Most clients describe the sensation as warm or tingly. Some areas (around eyes) may feel more sensitive than others. Mild discomfort and tightness during healing are normal.
