Sculptra is poly-L-lactic acid, a biocompatible, biodegradable substance that stimulates your body to produce its own collagen over time. Unlike hyaluronic acid filler (which adds volume immediately), Sculptra works gradually, rebuilding collagen structure over 3 to 6 months for natural-looking, long-lasting results.

Sculptra works gradually. Most clients need a series of 2 to 3 treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. You'll start to see subtle changes around month 2 to 3, with full results visible at 6 months. Once you reach your goal, results last 2 years or more, making it one of the longest-lasting treatments we offer.

Sculptra has been FDA-approved since 2004 and used safely worldwide for over two decades. Common side effects are mild bruising, swelling, and tenderness at the injection sites that resolve within days. Massaging the treated area for 5 days after treatment is important to ensure smooth, even results.

We apply topical numbing cream for 15 to 20 minutes before treatment, and Sculptra is reconstituted with lidocaine to minimize discomfort. Most clients describe the sensation as mild pressure or pinching. A cannula technique further reduces bruising and discomfort.
