Foundation

Neurotoxin Foundation Training Program

Master the essentials of neurotoxin treatments with our expert-led foundational course. Designed for licensed healthcare professionals ready to begin their aesthetic injector journey in Apple Valley, MN.

Day 1 — Didactic and Theory (4 hours)

Facial anatomy. Neurotoxin science (Botox and Dysport). Safety and clinical protocols. Business essentials.

Day 2 — Hands-On Training (4–6 hours)

Glabella. Crow's feet. Forehead. Masseter (jawline slimming).

Neurotoxin Advanced Training Program

Take your neurotoxin skills to the next level. Designed for licensed professionals who have already completed foundational training. Prerequisite: Tox Foundation or equivalent.

Day 1 — Didactic and Theory (4 hours)

Advanced anatomy. Product comparison. Complication management. Safety and business essentials.

Day 2 — Intensive Hands-On (8 hours)

DAO. Gummy smile. Lip flip. Chin. Brow lift. Bunny lines. Optional: platysmal bands, hyperhidrosis.

Foundation + Advanced

Dermal Filler Foundation + Advanced Training Program

Master dermal fillers from foundation to advanced in one comprehensive program. Hands-on clinical practice with real patients using Restylane, Revanesse and RHA.

Day 1 — Didactic and Theory (4 hours)

Facial anatomy. Product comparison (Restylane, Revanesse, RHA). Safety, indications and reversal. Clinical essentials.

Days 2 and 3 — Hands-On Training (6–8 hours each)

Cheek filler. Lip filler. Chin and chin shadows. Nasolabial folds and piriform.

Everything licensed professionals ask before enrolling at ABL Institute.

Who can enroll in ABL Institute training?

ABL Institute programs are open to licensed healthcare professionals only. That includes RNs, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, physicians, and dentists. Proof of active, unrestricted licensure is required to enroll.

Can a registered nurse inject neurotoxin in Minnesota?

Registered nurses in Minnesota may administer neurotoxin and dermal filler under appropriate delegation and supervision from a physician or advanced practice provider. Scope of practice and supervision requirements are set by your licensing board. Confirm your own requirements before you begin practicing.

Do I need to be a nurse to take injector training?

No, but you do need an active healthcare license. Nurse practitioners, physician assistants, physicians, and dentists are all eligible. If you are not currently licensed, you will need to complete licensure before enrolling.

How long is each course?

Neurotoxin Foundation runs two days: four hours of didactic and four to six hours hands-on. Neurotoxin Advanced runs two days: four hours didactic and eight hours hands-on. Dermal Filler Foundation and Advanced runs three days.

Do I train on real patients?

Yes. Every program includes hands-on clinical practice on live patients under instructor supervision, not mannequins or simulation pads. You inject the same day you learn the anatomy.

Do I need Tox Foundation before Tox Advanced?

Yes. Neurotoxin Advanced requires completion of Tox Foundation or equivalent foundational training elsewhere. If you trained somewhere else, bring your certificate and we will confirm placement during your facility tour.

Will I receive continuing education credit?

You receive an ABL Institute Certificate of Completion for every program. Continuing education requirements differ by license type and by state, so confirm with your licensing board whether it accepts this certificate toward your CE hours.

What treatment areas does the training cover?

Foundation covers glabella, crow's feet, forehead and masseter. Advanced adds DAO, gummy smile, lip flip, chin, brow lift and bunny lines. Filler covers cheek, lip, chin and chin shadows, nasolabial folds and piriform.

What is the facility tour, and is there a fee?

The facility tour is a consultation where you see the training space, meet the team, and talk through which course fits your license and goals. There is a $100 consultation fee, applied toward your tuition when you enroll.

I already trained elsewhere. Can I still work with ABL?

Yes. Our group and individual mentorship sessions are built for injectors who are already trained but want more hands-on guidance. Sessions cover technique refinement, treatment areas you want to strengthen, and real clinical practice.

Where is the training held?

At Aesthetic Beauty Lab, 15875 Emperor Ave Suite 120, Apple Valley, MN 55124. About 20 minutes south of Minneapolis and Saint Paul, and drivable from across Minnesota and the Upper Midwest.

How do I enroll?

Start with a facility tour. You will see the space, meet the team, and confirm which program fits your license and experience level. Enrollment and scheduling are handled at that visit.

Aesthetic Beauty Lab Institute programs are open to licensed healthcare professionals only; proof of active licensure is required to enrol. Programs award an ABL Institute Certificate of Completion. Confirm with your licensing board whether this is accepted toward your continuing education requirements, as these vary by license type and state. Completion of a course does not itself confer authority to practise; scope of practice, supervision and delegation requirements are set by your state licensing board and, where applicable, your supervising physician or medical director. Course content, duration and availability are subject to change. The $100 facility tour consultation fee is applied toward tuition upon enrolment.
