SkinPen uses tiny, sterile medical-grade needles to create controlled micro-channels in your skin. These micro-channels trigger your body's natural healing cascade, stimulating new collagen and elastin production. The result is smoother texture, brighter skin, and a firmer appearance that continues to improve over the following weeks. Treatment time is approximately 45 to 60 minutes with a sensation similar to light sandpaper pressure.

Most skin types are great candidates for SkinPen. However, treatment is not recommended if you have active acne breakouts or skin infection, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active eczema flare or psoriasis, used Accutane within the past 6 months, have open wounds or compromised skin barrier, or take blood-thinning medications (consult your provider). We'll evaluate your candidacy at your consultation.

Results build progressively over time. Days 1 to 3, immediate glow as redness resolves and skin looks refreshed. Days 7 to 10, visible glow with noticeable luminosity and radiance. Weeks 3 to 4, texture improvement with visibly refined pore size and surface texture. Months 3 to 6, full collagen remodeling with maximum firmness and scar improvement. For optimal results we recommend a series of 3 treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart.

We apply topical numbing cream for approximately 20 minutes before treatment. Most clients describe the sensation as light sandpaper pressure rather than pain. Discomfort is brief and tolerated very well by most clients.
