We draw a small blood sample and process it to isolate your platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), which is concentrated with your own growth factors. We then perform SkinPen microneedling, which creates controlled micro-channels in your skin. As your PRF is applied during and after microneedling, your growth factors enter the channels and deliver healing and collagen-stimulating signals directly into the dermis. The result is amplified healing, faster results, and more dramatic improvement compared to microneedling alone.

PRF enhances healing and boosts collagen for advanced rejuvenation results. The Vampire Facial is ideal for clients with deeper concerns like acne scarring, significant texture issues, or those who want the most dramatic improvement possible. Because PRF uses your own growth factors, there's no risk of allergic reaction. If your concerns are mild to moderate, standard SkinPen Microneedling at $350 may be a better fit. We'll recommend the right option at your consultation.

Most skin types are great candidates for the Vampire Facial. However, treatment is not recommended if you have active acne breakouts or skin infection, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active eczema flare or psoriasis, used Accutane within the past 6 months, have open wounds or compromised skin barrier, take blood-thinning medications, or have certain blood disorders. We'll evaluate your candidacy at your consultation. Hydration is essential, drink at least 64 oz of water daily for 3 days before your appointment for the best PRF yield.

A single Vampire Facial is $550 at Aesthetic Beauty Lab in Apple Valley, MN. A package of 3 sessions is $1,500 (save $150). Most clients see best results with the 3-session series spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart.

The blood draw feels like a routine lab draw. For the microneedling portion, we apply topical numbing cream for approximately 20 minutes. Most clients describe the sensation as light sandpaper pressure rather than pain. Discomfort is brief and tolerated very well.
