It works at a medium depth, deeper than over-the-counter peels but with no social downtime, just 5 to 7 days of light peeling. The synergistic blend of TCA, retinoic acid, salicylic acid, phenol, and vitamin C resurfaces the skin to reveal a fresh, glowing, even-toned complexion underneath. Five custom formulas allow your provider to choose the right peel for your specific concerns. Safe for all Fitzpatrick skin types I through VI, including darker skin tones. The classic. Best for first-time peel clients and mild signs of aging. A balanced formula that resurfaces, brightens, and refines without overcorrecting. A great introduction to medical-grade peels.

Targeted at moderate fine lines and wrinkles. Boosted with retinoic acid and antioxidants to stimulate collagen, smooth texture, and visibly soften expression lines for a more youthful finish.

The pigmentation specialist. Ideal for sun damage, melasma, hyperpigmentation, and uneven tone. Brightening agents work at the dermal level to fade dark spots and restore an even complexion.

For active acne. Salicylic acid and antibacterial ingredients target breakouts, decongest pores, and reduce inflammation while resurfacing the skin for clearer, calmer results.

The acne + pigmentation dual-action. Combines the acne-clearing power of Purify with the brightening agents of Precision Plus. Perfect for clients dealing with both active breakouts and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (dark marks left behind by past acne).

The VI Peel is a medical-grade chemical peel from the Vitality Institute. It's applied in layers as a synergistic blend of TCA, retinoic acid, salicylic acid, phenol, and vitamin C. The solution is left on for 4 to 6 hours before being washed off at home. You'll feel mild tingling during application and the skin will frost as the peel takes effect. Day 1 is mild redness, days 2 to 3 deepen, days 3 to 7 is active peeling, and by day 7+ fresh, glowing, even-toned skin emerges.

There are 5 formulas. VI Peel Original for first-time clients and mild aging. VI Peel Precision for moderate fine lines and wrinkles. VI Peel Precision Plus is the pigmentation specialist, ideal for sun damage, melasma, and hyperpigmentation. VI Peel Purify treats active acne. VI Peel Purify Precision Plus addresses both active acne and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Your provider will recommend the right formula at your consultation.

The VI Peel is safe for all Fitzpatrick skin types I through VI, including darker skin tones. We cannot treat clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, have used isotretinoin (Accutane) within the past 6 months, have active herpes outbreak or skin infection in the treatment area, have a known allergy to aspirin or any of the peel ingredients, or have recent sun exposure or sunburn. We assess every client at consultation.

A single VI Peel is $350 at Aesthetic Beauty Lab in Apple Valley, MN. A package of 3 sessions is $900 (save $150). Single session pricing includes the full VI Derm aftercare kit. Most clients see best results with the 3-session series spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart.

Most clients describe the sensation as mild tingling or warmth that lasts only a few minutes during application. The peel works while you wear it home for 4 to 6 hours. Active peeling on days 3 to 7 can feel tight but is not painful. We send you home with the VI Derm aftercare kit to keep you comfortable.
